Next month, the newest Aldi wooden toy range will land in stores. The budget supermarket’s limited-edition ‘specialbuys’ fly off the shelves fast, whether it’s cookware, vacuums or even solar panels, but its toy range has been so popular in the past that shoppers have had to be limited to two toys per child – so we’re expecting this new drop to sell-out just as fast.
Landing in stores on Sunday, 17 May, the latest wooden toy range will feature everything from a wooden toy kitchen to easels and a sand pit, and, as to be expected, it’s very affordable, all priced at less than £35.
In the past, shoppers queued up early in the morning to secure their sets, while TikTok videos went viral showing Aldi wooden toy hauls and crowded stores packed with trolleys piled high, so this latest drop is bound to be a hit. New to the range for 2026, there’s a wooden outdoor BBQ (£24.99), which comes with barbecuing tools and grill hood, and can be paired with BBQ food accessories (£9.99), which are sold separately.

Plus, other toys include a mud kitchen (£34.99), which comes complete with a bread oven, washing up rack, double burner stove top and utensil holders. There's also a set of mud kitchen accessories (£9.99), with four sets of stainless steel or wooden pots and bowls, baking set and veggie prep set, perfect for budding cooks.
The range will include a wooden shop front (£29.99), which you may want to pair with the set of shop front and role play set accessories (£14.99). These will include items for a coffee shop, a florist, a village shop, a post office, a theatre or a vet, so whether they’re an aspiring barista, actor or an animal lover, these are sure to foster their hobbies and spark creative play. You’ll also find a wooden easel for keen artists, a table and chairs, a bookshelf and a picnic play bench.
To get your hands on the line, mark 17 May in the diary, and head down to your local Aldi store.
