Aldi's new pizza replica tastes 'just like Domino's' - and it costs 99p

Aldi has released a new pizza, and customers say the 99p meal tastes just as good as Domino's.

Restaurants and cafes are closed for the foreseeable future, which means many foodies are now reliant on takeaways or supermarket's deluxe products to get their cuisine fix.

And for those who enjoy nothing more than tucking into a delicious pizza, Aldi has just realised two products that will not disappoint, reports the Liverpool Echo

The budget chain is known for replicating big name brands when it comes to food, beauty and cleaning products.

Aldi recently launched a 49p Carlos Takeaway Garlic and Herb dip, which is said to be just like the Domino's garlic and herb sauce.

After a picture of it was shared in a bargain Facebook group, one shopper commented: "I personally thought it tasted exactly the same as Domino's".

Another said: "Best dip I've had in ages!! I need to get more.”

The Aldi dip is 49p for a 100g pot, while the same size pot at Domino's is £1.

But of course, if you're going to buy this you'll need something to dip it in and Aldi has a 99p garlic pizza bread, which again people have said tastes "exactly like' the Domino’s version but for much less.

Also part of the Carlos Takeaway range, the Aldi mini garlic pizza bread is topped with garlic and Mozzarella and is priced at 99p compared to the Domino’s Garlic Pizza Bread which is £4.49.

So if you choose both Aldi versions you'll pay £1.48, or if you choose the real deal from Domino's you'll pay £5.49.

Aldi stores remain open during lockdown, and people are allowed to go shopping when they need to stock up on essential items.
