Aldi's 70p burgers taste just like McDonald's Filet-O-Fish

Fans of McDonald's Filet-O-Fish burger have found a new discovery at Aldi, that tastes just as good.

At the half the price as the fast food chain's offering, it's not only cheaper but it's also more convenient, as you can make them from the comfort of your own home.

Taking to a popular Facebook page, one shopper shared her fans with fellow group members.

Posting a picture of her Aldi find, she said: "Like fillet of fish burgers from McDonald's!? Go to Aldi and these.

"£1.69 for a pack of two, then a pack of their brioche buns to put them in (approx 85p for 4), then add tartare sauce/tomato sauce/cheese slice ect - we love them better than the McDonald's ones! **** Update - they do southern fried ones as well - advised by members of the group - thanks."

Kate's post about Aldi's version of the McDonald's favourite (Facebook)

Kate Jordan's Aldi fish patty find sparked 300 hundred comments from followers, who couldn't stop singing the praises of the burgers.

One group member commented: " I always have these taste so good I always have these taste so good."

While another posted: "Omg this is my son's absolute favourite, every time I go he's like mum get my fish burgers."

The Mirror checked the prices with Aldi, and discovered that they are even cheaper than the ones Kate listed.

It actually cost just £1.39 for a pack of two burgers, 79p for a pack of four Specially Selected brioche buns, 69p for the cheese slices and 39p for a jar of tartare sauce.
