Aldi's £4 product thousands of parents are desperately searching stores for

Parents are desperate to get their hands on one of Aldi's weekly Special Buys after it sold out online.

The budget supermarket is best known for its low prices and deals that often sell fast.

This month Aldi released a range of 'Grow Your Own' garden sets with four versions available - a dinosaur, unicorn, bee or pizza.

With a £3.99 price tag and aimed at children aged six and older, the sets sold out almost straight away online, with limited stock available across stores reports the Liverpool Echo.

The sets include paints, a brush, stickers and seeds to start growing.

Aldi describes the kit as 'lots of fun' and 'perfect for families.'

One mum shared the sets on Facebook prompting thousands of comments from other parents.

One user tagged a friend and said: "Can you grab me one next time you're in Aldi."

Another said: "Can you please check for me in your store"

A third said: "Has anyone actually managed to find one yet?"
