Parma Violet sweets are a bit like Marmite. You either love them or hate them.
And now Aldi's latest Parma Violet offering is causing a stir amongst shoppers.
The budget supermarket is selling a £2 cupcake kit, which comes with everything you need to make purple cupcakes.
A picture of the kit was posted on a popular Facebook group and it has received 6,000 comments.
Most of the shoppers commenting are all for the Parma Violet cupcake kit, but others are not so sure.
One group member commented: "Think they would be sickly."
While another said: "I think they will be manky, LOL but I will still try them if I can get some."
And another shopper said: "Should be called soap flavour, I know taste is subjective but can't understand why anyone would like these."
However, the post also received plenty of love from die hard Parma Violet fans.
"These look amazing," replied one Parma Violet connoisseur.
While another said: "OMG, I need these now."
