Aldi is selling trainers identical to Vans but without the designer price tag

We love a good dupe.

We’ve already seen the fab-looking new wearable tech range on sale at Primark which includes a pair of headphones that look a lot like Apple AirPods - but without the hefty price tag.

And now, Aldi is selling trainers almost identical to Vans , but for a lot less money.

Shoppers can pick up a pair of the fashionable footwear for an astonishing £6.99 - a massive reduction on the average £60 price tag found on an official pair of iconic Vans.

And in even better news for shoppers who don’t live near an Aldi , you can order a pair online and pay just £2.95 for standard delivery. Orders over £20 are free.

(Aldi)

The trainers are hugely popular across the country, with flagship stores and stock found in the likes of Schuh, Office and Selfridges.

The production description for the trainers on the Aldi website reads: "An all-time favourite and wardrobe staple, Aldi has the whole family covered with its affordable range of Men’s and Ladies Trainers (£6.99) and Children’s Trainers (£5.99) available in Black, Pink and Teal and Black.”

Aldi’s Trainers are in stores now and available to order on the website here.
