Aldi is bringing back one of its most popular Special Buys this weekend and it is due to fly off shelves.
Earlier this year, shoppers said the retailer’s Lacura E1 Exclusive Eau De Parfum, which costs £4.99, was “almost identical” to Chanel’s Chance perfume.
It was also labelled a “dupe” of Carolina Herrera’s 212 VIP Rose.

With a 100ml bottle of Chance coming in at £113 online and 212 Rose at around £75 for 100ml, there’s definitely a bargain to be had if you’re looking for your favourite perfume on a budget.
According to the Aldi website, the Lacura perfume is “fresh, sensual and feminine. Top notes include pink champagne, while its heart note is peach tree blossom. Finally, the base notes are Queen woods, musk and amber".
While Carolina Herrara’s 212 VIP Rose is described as a “glamorous opening of champagne rosé is followed up with, a playfully seductive heart of peach blossom. The luxurious Queen wood and radiant amber complete the colourful, feminine base.”
Similarly, Chanel’s Chance features notes of pink pepper, jasmine, amber patchouli, white musks and vanilla.
One shopper compared the Lacura product with Chanel, saying she “couldn’t tell the difference” between the two.

Another said: “Smelt in shops and knew instantly it was VIP 212 Rose”, while someone said “It's a dupe for 212 VIP rosé Carolina Herrera. Such a bargain!”
The product is now listed once again on Aldi’s website, where you can pre-order ahead of the perfume hitting shelves this Sunday, September 27.
