Aldi confirms which Liverpool stores now offer home delivery

Aldi finally confirmed last week the news that Liverpool shoppers have been waiting for - that we can finally get groceries delivered.

The news comes as Aldi doubles the size of its on-demand grocery delivery trial, which launched in selected stores in London, Greater Manchester, Cambridge and the Midlands in May.

Now, the trail has been extended to Liverpool, with one store offering the coveted delivery service, Aldi has confirmed.

Enter your postcode to find the latest deals near you:

Liverpool’s Smithdown Road Aldi store is now offering grocery delivery via Deliveroo, with customers with a 6km radius able to choose from around 400 essential items.

To find the service, visit your Deliveroo app, enter your postcode and check the Grocery category. If Aldi doesn’t appear, you may live too far from the store to qualify for delivery.

Once orders are placed, products are picked and packed by Aldi staff before being delivered by Deliveroo’s network of riders in as little as 30 minutes.

While one store may not seem like much, there are plans to roll the service out further in the coming weeks should it prove successful.

Delivery costs £4.99 and products can be delivered contact-free.
