Albion Rovers Boys Club’s 2004 team are celebrating after winning the Central Scotland Divisional Cup at Stenhousemuir.
They beat CBC Glasgow in hot conditions at Ochilview but ran out comfortable winners in an 11-goal thriller, claiming a 7-4 victory last week.
Albion got off to a blistering start using their lightening fast frontline to score within 30 seconds of kick off.
They quickly added another goal within two minutes, via a stunning top corner bullet header, to help settle any nerves.
Glasgow CBC came back in to the game to make for an exciting finish but Albion were just too strong and found another gear to win it.
It’s the second time in six years the club have won a trophy and many of the players and coaches are still there from that success.
Head coach Colin Hutcheson said: “The boys have worked so hard for this. The team sticks together and they play for each other.
“Seven of the team have been together for 10 years so they know how each other plays.
"We are delighted to add another trophy for all the boys, coaches and family that support the team.”
