The stats show Alabama backup QB Ty Simpson had a 78-yard run against in a 66-10 win over Chattanooga on Saturday.

Ah, but they don’t tell you the jaunt should have been a 79-yard TD run.

Simpson decided to celebrate a yard early and instead of another six points, the Tide wound up with a first-and-goal.
