Al Sharpton made a wild comparison relating to Donald Trump’s upcoming UFC fight on the White House lawn.
Speaking on Morning Joe on Thursday (28 May), the civil rights activist claimed that the US president has organised the fight - which will be held on 14 June - as he is nostalgic for historical period when people participated in slave fights.
“They’re trying to go back to when they’d watch people have these fights for the slave masters and they’d be entertained by that”
He claimed that the Trump administration is “trying to bring us back to an America that we struggle to get out of”.
