Ajax midfielder Mohammed Kudus has reportedly refused to turn up for training after the Amsterdam club blocked his proposed move to Everton.
According to Netherlands outlet De Telegraaf, personal terms have already been agreed between the Ghanaian international and the Blues, who was committed to making the switch to Premier League football. But Ajax do not want Kudus to leave, resulting in an impasse.
The Dutch champions have seen one of their star players Antony seal a big-money switch to Manchester United - who have already signed Lisandro Martinez from the same club - this week, after the Brazilian himself went on a training strike. And after setting a precedent, Kudus has followed suit in an attempt to force his move to Everton over the line.

De Telegraaf journalist Mike Verweij Tweeted: "Mohammed #Kudus refuses to train and wants to go to #Everton. After transfers Martinez and Antony there is an idea that striking pays off at #Ajax."
Ajax boss Alfred Schreuder is reportedly unhappy with the upper tier of management at the club after Gerry Hamstra and Klaas-Jan Huntelaar allowed Antony to leave after refusing to train. His fear that other players would follow suit, believing it can get them a better deal elsewhere appears to have become a reality in the case of Kudus.
Everton could still sign the Ghanaian if the two clubs can strike a deal before tomorrow's 11pm deadline.
