Air ambulance descends on crash involving bus and van on the A90

A bus and a van have been involved in a crash on the A90.

Emergency services were called to the scene at the Petterden junction in Angus at 8.10am on Thursday.

The Scottish Ambulance Service said "multiple resources" including an air ambulance were at the scene.

Police closed the A90 northbound while emergency services dealt with the incident.

A police spokesman said: "We were called at 8.10am this morning to reports of a crash involving a bus and a van on the A90 Dundee to Forfar at the Petterden junction.

"The ambulance service are in attendance and the road is currently closed."

An SAS spokesman said: "We currently have multiple resources in attendance at a road traffic collision on the A90 at Tealing, including our heli-med air ambulance, trauma teams and special operations response team."
