Ahead of Lavanya Tripathi's wedding, her trainer reveals diet and workout plans before the big day

Telugu star Lavanya Tripathi exchanged rings with actor Varun Tej in their close-knit engagement ceremony on June 9. Lavanya looked mesmerizing in a light green saree, paired with traditional jewelry and tied her hair in a bun adorned with white flowers.

The wedding date has not been officially announced yet. However, Lavanya has set her body goals and is working out at the gym consistently for the big day.

Lavanya's fitness trainer, T. Komal aka Komalfit, shared Lavanya's ongoing diet and workout regime with Etimes Lifestyle.

Komalfit is a celebrity fitness trainer, best known for her natural bikini body fitness program. Lavanya has been training with Komal for the last two months.

Lavanya's weekly workout schedule

In a typical week, the actor's workout routine is divided into "two days for lower body workout, twice upper body workout, a HIIT/circuit day and a core day. She goes to the gym 6 days a week," Komal shared.

"She wants to maintain her fit & toned body and improve her overall health for years to come," the fitness trainer added.

As for the wedding, Komal revealed, "we will schedule a proven diet and workout plan to get her in the best shape."

What is her daily diet?

"She is a vegetarian, and I customize her diet high in protein and fiber," Komal shared. Lavanya makes recipes of her choice using ingredients like "quinoa, broccoli, sprouts etc. in adequate quantity."

"I include a lot of variety in her diet so she doesn't get bored. Also, the diet gets updated every week," the trainer added.

What about her cheat meals?

She is allowed a cheat meal once a week but it still cannot be any "food with sugar, anything deep fried or contains refined flour." Her cheat meals should also be within her maintenance calories.

What are her most and least favorite workouts?

"She enjoys her lower body exercises; her least favorite is HIIT/Circuit," Komal revealed.

Tell us what keeps her motivated

"She is the one who keeps herself motivated. Workout is a part of her daily routine. If she has a late shoot, she trains early in the morning; if she has an early shoot, she trains late evening. She always keeps room for her workout," Komal signed off.
