Agnes is Amazing at 105

Amazing Agnes Findlay has celebrated her 105th birthday.

Agnes pre-dates the First World War. She was born on March 24, 1914, more than four months before war was declared.

She received her second telegram from the Queen on her birthday. The first arrived on her centenary.

Her family and staff at Rozelle Holm Farm in Alloway helped her to celebrate her incredible longevity.

Agnes is seen her with her daughter Pat Flannigan, receiving her telegram from Nigel Martin, clerk to the Ayrshire Lieutenancy.

Born in Tayport in Fife, Agnes was a school cook and moved to Ayr to live near her daughter in 2004.
