Pundits on the popular Arsenal fans site AFTV have given their verdict on Nottingham Forest defender Djed Spence amid reports linking the loanee with a move to Emirates.
Spence has enjoyed a fabulous loan spell from Middlesbrough, who will not be recalling the 21-year-old this month.
The Gunners and Leeds United are reportedly interested in signing Spence this month.
Assessing Arsenal’s apparent interest in the player, well-known AFTV host Robbie Lyle said today (Monday) in video posted on social media: “Arsenal are looking at this guy. I don’t know if you guys remember this kid from when we played Nottingham Forest in the cup.
“He was brilliant. I was like ‘who is this kid?’ He was brilliant in the game, he was dynamic, defended well, his runs, his strength, he really stood out and obviously he’s made an impression on Arsenal as well.
“They [Arsenal] are said to be interested in a possible signing. Still only 21.
“It’s a weird one because he’s actually a Middlesbrough player who’s on loan.
“We know Arsenal have got decent relations with Middlesbrough at the moment as they’ve got [Folarin] Balogun [on loan].”
