After what was arguably the biggest public crash out of the century, it appears that former lovers pals, Elon Musk and Donald Trump, are no longer fighting, with the Tesla Mogul admitting that he “regrets” some of his posts about the US President.
ICYMI, the internet has been riddled with memes and edits regarding the highly publicised friendship breakdown of Elon Musk and Donald Trump.
You see, before Musk stepped down from the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), the TESLA owner criticised Trump’s “big beautiful bill”, describing it as a “massive spending bill” that “undermines the work” of DOGE.
When he peaced out of the White House, the pair began to throw jabs at each other, with Musk eventually accusing the US President of being involved with sexual predator Jeffrey Epstein.
As Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez said: “The girls are fighting.”

Now, it appears that the hilarious jabs and memes will be coming to an end, with Musk declaring that some of his crash-out posts “went too far”.
“I regret some of my posts about President @realDonaldTrump last week,” he penned on X.
“They went too far.”

OOOPPP. I don’t think far enough!!!! Drop them files, Mr Musk, we wanna see what you were alleging!!!!
Musk’s statement of regret comes shortly after he deleted all the scathing posts from his X account, including the one where he alleged that Trump was involved with the Epstein files.
While Trump never addressed the allegations made against him by Musk, the US President told NBC News that his ex-bestie could face “serious consequences” if he funded Democratic candidates in the next election.
He also told the publication that he has no desire to fix their friendship. He has yet to respond to Musk’s latest X post.
That being said, I leave you with this TikTok edit of the pair’s breakup:
