African culinary roadshow hits Dakar
Delicious smells have been wafting over Dakar this week as the Afro Cooking roadshow We Eat Africa, set up base in the Senegalese capital. Frequently under-appreciated off the continent, African ingredients have a lot of diversity to them - with no two dishes identical from one country to the next.
A lot of these delicious African recipes are never written down, but are passed on from mother to daughter.
Our correspondent Emmanuelle Landais went to find out how that's starting to change.
