Saturday's AFLW semi-finals will clash with the Matildas' Melbourne friendly against women's soccer powerhouse Sweden.

Richmond will play North Melbourne from 1.40pm at Punt Rd Oval and Adelaide will host Collingwood from 3.10pm local time.

The Australia-Sweden match will be at AAMI Park, 400m from the Punt Rd ground, and will kick off at 2.45pm.

Sweden are the world No.2 in women's soccer and the match is an important step in the Matildas' World Cup preparations.

Punt Rd and Unley Oval, in Adelaide's inner-south, will be first-time AFLW finals venues.

Richmond lost their qualifying final to Brisbane, while North Melbourne narrowly beat Geelong in an elimination final.

The Tigers drew with the Kangaroos last Sunday to snare the double chance from North and Geelong.

Collingwood had a five-point elimination final win over the Western Bulldogs, while Melbourne beat the Crows on Friday night to open the finals series.
