AFC North standings: Ravens get a reprieve with their 1st loss this season

The Baltimore Ravens are no longer undefeated, losing to the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 3. However, Baltimore got a bit of a reprieve with the rest of the division also losing their games on Sunday.

After three weeks, the Ravens sit atop the AFC North with a 2-1 record. The Cleveland Browns are the only other team inside the division with at least one win, as both the Cincinnati Bengals and Pittsburgh Steelers lay at the bottom of the AFC North, winless.

But the season is far from over. Week 4 will see the AFC North chip away at each other as division play begins. The Ravens will host the Browns while the Bengals will travel to Pittsburgh.

Though Baltimore leads the division right now, things could quickly turn upside down for the Ravens. If Cleveland were to win this week, both teams would sit at 2-2 but the Browns would hold the initial tiebreaker with the better division record. Then again, a Baltimore victory would put them heads and shoulders above the rest of the division really early in the season.

Let’s take a closer look at the current AFC North standings:

Team Record Division Record Conference Record
Baltimore Ravens 2-1 0-0 1-1
Cleveland Browns 1-2 0-0 1-1
Cincinnati Bengals 0-3 0-0 0-1
Pittsburgh Steelers 0-3 0-0 0-1
