Aerial footage shows devastation following deadly Philippines earthquake

Aerial footage shows the devastation caused by a powerful and deadly earthquake in the Philippines.

An offshore 7.8-magnitude earthquake killed at least 37 people on Monday (8 June), injured more than 200 and triggered tsunami warnings across several countries.

Tremors were felt strongly across Mindanao, in the south of the country, and as far as Manado, Indonesia, 420km away

Drone footage shows numerous collapsed and destroyed buildings in General Santos City, a city of more than 700,000 people and one of the hardest-hit areas.
