'Adult Fun House' in the works according to the classic show's host Pat Sharp

If you grew up in the 90s there is a certain TV show that you will have most definitely wanted to be on.

While the prizes - like Fun Faxes, Walkmans and Encyclopedias - were very much of the time, Fun House lives long in memory as a classic children's TV show that would have loads of kids rushing home from school to catch it on ITV.

Well now Fun House fans get excited as the series' famous host Pat Sharp has teased that a version for adults is firmly in the works and just like the original show there looks set to be a whole lot of fun and prizes to be won.

Speaking to BANG Showbiz, the man with the iconic mullet haircut said: "We’re still looking at trying to do a live, interactive, immersive attraction. So we’ll hopefully get the rights and get it out there.

"We’ve got a company that’s ready to go. What we’re trying to get is the rights to enable us to do it and get it out there for adults to play in the Fun House – exactly as it was, with go-karts.

At the end of the Fun Run or whatever we do, you’ll be able to have a drink and a dance. It could be good for stags and hens, stuff like that.

"I get a lot of people who message me with a picture of their kids watching it, episodes from like 1989.

"They watch it over and over again, and they love it. It probably could work again in a format of some kind, absolutely."
