AdmiralBulldog confirms $70,000 sale of his Dota 2 TI3 Championship Ring

Former professional Dota 2 player and longtime streamer Henrik “AdmiralBulldog” Ahnberg has put one of the most iconic pieces of esports memorabilia up for sale.

The Alliance legend confirmed to Dot Esports via email that he has put his Dota 2 The International 2013 championship ring up for sale on eBay, with the starting price set at $70,000 and a “Buy It Now” option priced at $99,000.

“Every team gets rings for winning The International. If you want a piece of history, this is the one from the Na’Vi vs Alliance epic finals,” AdmiralBulldog wrote on the item description. At the time of writing, the auction remains visible, and it ends on Saturday, Jan. 10, at 8am CT.

AdmiralBulldog earned the championship ring after Alliance’s historic victory at TI3. In the thrilling grand final, the Swedish powerhouse edged out Natus Vincere in the deciding Game 5, a match that is still remembered as one of the most iconic moments in competitive Dota 2.

That TI3 victory cemented Alliance’s place in esports history and helped define an era of methodical Dota built around map control and efficiency. AdmiralBulldog, known for his “Rat Dota” playstyle on micro-demanding heroes like Lone Druid and Nature’s Prophet, played a crucial role in the historic win.

Why is AdmiralBulldog selling his TI3 championship ring?

The ring’s listing on eBay sparked mixed reactions within the Dota 2 community on Reddit. Some fans speculated that the streamer might be experiencing financial difficulties.

However, others quickly pointed to public records suggesting otherwise, noting that AdmiralBulldog continues to earn substantial income, and is even part of the top one percent earners in Sweden.

AdmiralBulldog told Dot Esports that the decision to sell his TI3 championship ring is not driven by financial necessity.

Reason for selling isn’t anything special, it’s not coming from desperation. I have teased selling it for a long time now, just got around to doing it now. I just believe the ring holds higher monetary value than the sentimental value.

Indeed, this isn’t AdmiralBulldog’s first time considering parting with his TI3 ring, as he had already hinted at a possible sale on X (formerly Twitter) during the final day of TI 2025, which was one of the most anticipated tournaments on the best esports betting sites last year.

AdmiralBulldog’s Dota 2 career

AdmiralBulldog rose to prominence as one of the most recognizable offlaners in Dota 2, first making his name with No Tidehunter (nth) before the roster was signed by Alliance. His success with Alliance at TI3 remains the defining highlight of his career, but his impact on the scene has continued long after he stepped away from competitive play.

After stepping back from the pro scene in 2016, he transitioned into full-time streaming, where he built a massive following, and remained one of the game’s most polarizing and popular personalities.

Despite his retirement from pro, AdmiralBulldog has continued to make occasional appearances on the competitive stage. Most recently, he played for Vikings at the Games of the Future Dota 2 event, where his team faced other TI winners and legendary players such as Ivan “MinD_ContRoL” Ivanov, Wong “ChuaN” Hock Chuan, Xu “BurNIng” Zhilei, and Chai “Mushi” Yee Fung. Bulldog and his squad finished runner-up in GOTF behind Win, earning $35,000.

With his TI3 championship ring now on the market, AdmiralBulldog is now ready to part with a tangible piece of Dota 2 esports history.
