Adele wows fans with new figure and declares she 'used to cry but now sweats'

Adele has lost over a stone and she's so thrilled with the results she's broken her Instagram silence to show off her figure.

The Someone Like You singer, 31, took to the social media app on Thursday night to give fans a glimpse of her new body.

She also joked at how she'd shed the pounds, saying she doesn't cry anymore but "sweats".

In the sizzling snap, Adele flashed her cleavage and bare shoulder in a low cut black dress while sporting huge statement earrings.

The mum-of-one wore her hair back in a high ponytail and donned the bold black eyeliner that's become her trademark look.

She pulled a big pout for the picture, the happiness in her face clear to see.

Adele captioned the post: "I used to cry but now I sweat."

The hitmaker compared her look to that of Ginger McKenna, the villain from 1995 film Casino.

She'd been out that night celebrating Drake's 33rd birthday in Hollywood and gave him a shout out in the post.

Adele went on: "Happy birthday to one of the kindest and funniest people I’ve met @champagnepapi."

Her picture sent her 31.9million followers into meltdown mode, with many leaving gushing comments.

One posted: "You're looking prettier than ever."

"Omgggggg Queen you look f**king amazing!!!!!!" another commented.

Adele reportedly dropped more than a stone after taking up pilates and working out with famous pal Ayda Field.

Last month it was reported that the Hello! warbler was dating fellow Tottenham native Skepta following her split from husband Simon Konecki.

After the two musicians are alleged to have enjoyed 'a string of dates', Adele is now said to have let Skepta meet her showbiz friends.
