Adam Ramsay-Peaty hails his ‘incredible wife’ after Commonwealth Games setback

  • Three-time Olympic champion Adam Ramsay-Peaty secured a bronze medal in the 100m breaststroke at the Commonwealth Games, following an emotional defeat to Australia’s Sam Williamson and Jersey’s Filip Nowacki.
  • Despite missing out on gold, Ramsay-Peaty expressed a sense of peace and resilience in an interview with BBC Breakfast , stating he has developed “very tough skin” over the past six months and can look in the mirror and be at peace with himself.
  • The swimmer highlighted his focus on family, mentioning his “incredible wife” Holly, who is expecting their first child, and his five-year-old son George from a previous relationship, emphasising his desire to be a father and husband.
  • Ramsay-Peaty's personal life has been subject to headlines due to an ongoing family dispute with his parents, Mark and Caroline, who were notably absent from his wedding to Holly and her hen party.
  • His mother, Caroline Peaty , publicly addressed the family tensions on Instagram earlier this week, suggesting external forces were attempting to destroy their family and reaffirming their love and support for Adam from afar.
