Adam Peaty has already shared his medal goals for 2028 LA Olympics

  • Adam Peaty has set a target of winning four medals at the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics.
  • The 50m breaststroke, an event in which Peaty is a three-time world champion and current record holder, has been added to the LA 2028 swimming programme.
  • Peaty, who secured a silver medal in the 100m breaststroke at the Paris 2024 Olympics, stated that the inclusion of the 50m event has given him fresh motivation.
  • He is particularly keen to challenge the United States in the medley events on their home ground.
  • Peaty decided to skip the current World Championships to prepare for future competitions, including the 2026 Commonwealth Games and next year's European championships.
