Adam Peaty has changed his name after his wedding to Holly Ramsay.
The Olympic swimmer, 31, and Gordon Ramsay’s influencer daughter, 25, got married in a star-studded ceremony at Bath Abbey on Saturday.
Adam’s mother Caroline, father Mark, and brothers James and Richard did not attend the wedding following weeks of bitter public sparring.
He is also believed to have blocked his family on his phone, aside from his sister Bethany, who was a bridesmaid at the wedding.
And in another sign that the athlete has distanced himself from his family, he has now changed his Instagram username to Adam Ramsay Peaty.
Adam followed in the footsteps of Brooklyn Beckham, who became Brooklyn Peltz Beckham after marrying Nicola Peltz in 2022 amid ongoing tensions with his own family.
Adam and Holly tied the knot at a ceremony full of celebrity attendees, including the Ramsays’ family friends the Beckhams, presenter Dan Walker and chef Marcus Wareing.
Gordon, 59, reportedly waded into the family drama by making a dig at Adam’s parents during his wedding speech, according to The Sun.
The celebrity chef gushed at how beautiful Holly looked and told Adam he was a “lucky man”, adding: “Look at Tana and that’s what you have to look forward to.”
In a dig at Adam’s absent parents, he then reportedly said: “Shame you don’t have the same.”
Gordon also said his wife Tana will “be a good mum to them both”, the outlet reported.
Adam reportedly failed to mention his family in his own speech, instead saying his swim coach Mel Marshall was “like a mum”.
He praised her for being his “everything”, and for “grounding and inspiring” him.
Reports of a feud among the Peatys first emerged when Caroline did not attend Holly’s star-studded hen do at Soho Farmhouse last month.
It was then claimed Adam’s parents were uninvited from Adam and Holly’s big day.
Adam’s aunt and several other family members called him out on social media for the apparent move.
Meanwhile, his brother James was arrested in November over allegations he sent threatening messages to his brother during his stag do in Budapest.
Holly is believed to have rung the police over the messages and Adam was met by armed police officers when his plane landed in the UK.
James was questioned and released.
