Adam Hyde has revealed that an upcoming song on his new album, released under stage name Keli Holiday, features audio of him and his girlfriend Abbie Chatfield in the sack.
The couple divulged the tea during a joint interview published in Stellar magazine on Sunday, saying Adam’s song “More” — which will feature on his yet-to-be-titled sophomore album — is a “very horny song”.
“There’s also a lot of saucy stuff in that song,” Adam said. “‘More’ is like sweat and bedsheets.”
According to the singer, the track’s bridge, which he described as “an orgasm”, includes a snippet of the pair having sex.
“There was a time where we were having sex and I said, ‘OK, I’m gonna record it’ and she’s like, ‘Cool, let’s do it’.”
But for all you eagle-eared listeners, I regret to inform you that at least one of the snippets is indiscernible because of a pesky bedsheet.
“It’s funny because the bedsheets were covering the microphone completely so none of it was audible,” Adam said.
“Then there was a different recording [a voice note] that I was like, ‘OK, I’m just going to put this in’,” he added.
As for Abbie’s thoughts on the song, she confirmed she “gave my full consent”, but said she (understandably) wouldn’t be spinning it with any relatives present.
“It’s like hearing your own voice, but a million times worse … Mum can’t listen to this song, I swear!” Abbie said. “I think it’s very cool, so I gave full consent. But me hearing it, if I think about it, I feel sick.”
While we’ll undoubtedly be listening attentively when it drops, this isn’t the first we’ve heard of Abbie and Adam’s romantic life.
In October of last year, Abbie revealed she and Adam have “amazing sex like four times a day” (the stamina!) and before that, she lifted the lid on what sounds like her extremely cute first date with the Peking Duk star.
We don’t yet know the details about the release of Adam’s new album, but perhaps it’s time to invest in some HD earphones to get the full experience.
