Imagine Bill Belichick and Adam Gase are in a room together.

Now imagine Gase is laughing — but not just a laugh. It’s not just a giggle or a titter. Gase is laughing hard, harder than he’s ever laughed in his life. Supposedly, that happened. The New York Jets coach said as much during a meeting with the New England media on Thursday.
“I don’t think I’ve laughed harder being around somebody. Some of the things that get brought up and some of the things he’s experienced in his life,” Gase told reporters when asked about Belichick. “When you’re around him and Matt Patricia, those two together, they’re funny to be around.”
