Actor Seann William Scott files for divorce from wife Olivia

Seann William Scott's home in Venice, California, is on the market

Seann William Scott, known for his role as Steve Stifler in the popular 'American Pie' franchise, has filed for divorce from his wife of four years, Olivia Korenberg. The 47-year-old actor submitted the paperwork for dissolution of marriage in Los Angeles County Courts earlier this week, citing 'irreconcilable differences' as the reason for their split.

According to the filing, Scott is seeking to divide their assets in accordance with their prenuptial agreement. He also intends to retain sole ownership of his earnings from before, during, and after the marriage, as well as since their separation. Additionally, he requests that both parties share the responsibility of their attorney fees. Scott has agreed to provide financial support to Korenberg and is seeking joint legal and physical custody of their 3-year-old daughter, Frankie Rose Scott.

The documents reveal that the couple officially separated on October 2, 2023. Scott and Korenberg had always kept their relationship private before tying the knot on September 21, 2019. They welcomed their daughter a year later, on June 22, 2020. However, signs of trouble began to surface when they recently listed their Los Angeles home for $4.97 million.

Scott, who spent seven years renovating his family's modern compound after purchasing a property in Venice, California, in 2017, has previously been romantically linked to Deanna Miller, January Jones, and Jaime King. The actor's journey to success was not always smooth sailing. In fact, he made headlines last July when he disclosed that he earned a mere $8,000 for his role in the first 'American Pie' movie, which premiered in 1999. Despite his limited earnings, Scott humorously recounted how he managed to purchase a used Thunderbird for $5,000 or $6,000. However, it seems the financial situation declined further, leading him to take a job as a churro vendor at the LA Zoo.

As of now, Scott's representative has not responded to Page Six's request for comment regarding the divorce filing. It remains to be seen how the proceedings will unfold for the actor and his soon-to-be ex-wife. For fans and followers, it is undoubtedly a period of uncertainty and curiosity about the future of their favorite actor's personal life.
