Liverpool have triggered Dominik Szoboszlai's £60million release clause with the intention of making the RB Leipzig star their second signing of the summer.
The Reds have informed Leipzig they are prepared to pay the full price before the clause expires at 23:59 CET. All that seemingly remains in the process is to complete a medical and finalise paperwork, then Szoboszlai will be able to call himself a new member of Jurgen Klopp's squad alongside Alexis Mac Allister.
The Hungary international had also been linked with Newcastle United prior to tonight's big news, but once Liverpool came calling the battle was swiftly won.
Supporters have been having their say on social media with Szoboszlai on course to become a Red, with plenty of positive reactions.
