Abbey Clancy 'launches TV career on ITV' after podcast success with husband Peter Crouch

Abbey Clancy is reportedly set to make her return to TV presenting in the coming months, with her said to have been chosen to front a new interior design show for ITV.

The model, 37, has previously hosted shows like Britain's Next Top Model. She fronted three cycles from 2013 to 2017, after having been runner-up on the show in 2006.

She's more recently been co-hosting the Therapy Crouch podcast with her husband Peter Crouch, 42. The recent project has been described as a "smash hit podcast".

And it has now been reported that Abbey will return to TV for an upcoming interior design show, with her said to be filming the six-part series over the summer.

A source told the Sun : "Abbey has been making waves on her podcast with Peter and now she's forging a path solo on the box." They went on to discuss the show itself.

They said that Abbey will front a new interior design show which is being developed for ITVBe and streaming service ITVX. The upcoming project is said to be a six-part series.

The source said that it will follow Abbey as she meets other women with a passion for interior design. They added that she is "hugely passionate" about interiors herself.

The source acknowledged that it isn't her first hosting role, but said: "This will be Abbey's first solo presenting job for a major broadcaster and she could not be more excited."

According to the outlet, a source added that catwalk model Abbey is "warm and personable". They further commented about the project: "ITV think their audiences will love her."

Abbey competed on the second cycle of Britain's Next Top Model in 2006. She reached the final and placed as runner-up. She later became a judge on the show and its host.

The model - who has been married to former footballer Peter since 2011 - currently hosts the Therapy Crouch podcast with her husband, following its launch in January.

A synopsis for it teases: "We will be exploring the trials and tribulations experienced by us, and you the listener, as we navigate our way through complex relationships."
