If the mysterious research labs on Fracture or Icebox ever made you want to join the VALORANT Protocol, Riot’s new Mercer Island office might be the closest you’ll get to realizing that fantasy. Now styled after the abandoned Radianite facilities straight from your matches, it’s the dream work location for anyone obsessed with the tac shooter’s lore.
Riot revealed a minute-long guided tour of its Seattle workspace—and honestly, I’m already considering a career change just to get in. From the tunnel-style entrance and VALORANT-themed wall art to the spacious layout and Icebox-inspired “Kitchen,” every inch of this “Radianite lab” is nothing short of impeccable. But here’s a summary anyway.
The second you walk past the blast doors, it’s like entering a Kingdom research facility in real life: stacked Radianite boxes, warning posters on the walls, popular map locations (like Breeze’s Attack Side Cave) marked on the ground, a real-life map to navigate the office, and more.

After you walk past this memory lane, you enter the actual office space where the magic happens. And let’s just say: it’s absolutely mesmerizing. Besides the spacious layout and beautiful décor, the walls—overlooking a series of work PCs—flaunt giant-sized agent posters. There are fan-made posters of various agents and game memes too, adding a touch of the community.

And then comes the “Kitchen,” complete with vending machines, coffee machines, and other equipment, all nestled inside a blue container—the perfect Icebox vibe. Riot previously revealed that the office also features console playtest suites, a PC café, and a gym.

As one of Riot’s most prominent offices in the United States, the Mercer Island site is responsible for five verticals: esports, games, data, core infrastructure, and enterprise. So no, the work won’t just be about VALORANT.
