Aaron Rodgers slammed by famous Green Bay Packers fan Lil Wayne after Detroit Lions loss

Sunday's defeat to the Detroit Lions has been a tough one to take for Green Bay Packers fans, and even well known rapper Lil Wayne has turned on quarterback Aaron Rodgers.

Wayne is a huge Packers fan, regularly tweeting about the franchise and posting "go pack go" on countless occasions. But even Wayne has had enough of Rodgers after claiming he's "done" with the quarterback.

The Packers simply needed to beat the Lions to secure the final playoff spot on Sunday, but they lost 20-16 to the side who had already been eliminated from contention. A lot has been speculated about Rodgers and the Packers moving forward, but it's very clear to see which side of the fence Wayne is on.

"Man as a Packers fan, all I can say is RELAPSE," Wayne tweeted out. "I've been done with 12 (Rodgers).12 been done with football. Now when the f*** are they going to be done with 12???????!!!!! Idk but GO PACK GO."

Wayne really didn't take the loss well, as he also tweeted shortly after: "Please do me a favour and don’t call or text me. I don’t want to talk."

The manner of the defeat has upset Packers fans, especially after many ruled them out of the running for the playoffs weeks ago. The Packers looked dead and buried until a late surge and favourable results elsewhere suddenly put the power in their hands.

But despite just needing the win, they fell short against the Lions, and to make matters worse it was former Packers running-back Jamaal Williams that scored twice to hurt his old franchise. Williams was drafted by the Packers in 2017, but left for the Lions in 2021.

There has been a lot of beef between the Lions and the Packers this season, which is expected for divisional rivals anyway. But after Rodgers appeared to disrespect them in November, they've been on a revenge mission.

The Lions were 1-6 back then, but beat the Packers 15-9 as their slump in form began to snowball. Rodgers said: "We can't be losing like that to that team," something that riled up the Lions fans and players.

But they've got their revenge, and in the most brutal way possible after they were the team to deny them post-season football. Williams broke a franchise record during the game, as he scored his 17th touchdown for the season.

"Stop playing with us man," An emotional Williams shouted at the end of the game, after opening up about the loss of his great grandfather. "Don’t let these tears fool you. We’re the Detroit Lions," he added, firing a statement to his old team.
