Aaron Rodgers at NFL Honors: ‘There’s nothing like beating the Bears’

Chicago Bears fans watching the NFL Honors Saturday night had to endure one more reminder of what happened in Week 1 against the Green Bay Packers.

Aaron Rodgers was given the award for “Moment of the Year” for his comeback on Sunday Night Football. In his acceptance speech, he took yet another shot at his division rival.

“There’s nothing like beating the Bears,” Rodgers said to end his speech.

Week 1 was the only time he experienced the taste of victory against the Bears this season, as Mitchell Trubisky had the same pleasure in Week 15.

The Packers finished 6-9-1, missing the playoffs for the second-straight season, while the Bears took the division crown at 12-4.

It seems Rodgers season may have peaked in Week 1, while it just kept getting better from there for Chicago.
