A52 closures at major junction as next phase of roadworks set to begin

Some closures and diversions at a major Nottinghamshire junction have been announced as phase three of improvements on the A52 are set to take place. National Highways have announced that a series of full late-night road closures will be put in place at the end of July and the beginning of August so that junction improvements on the A52 at Gamston roundabout can be completed.

Changes to the roundabout are scheduled to be complete by the end of January, 2023. National Highways say that the closures are "necessary" so that they can switch over their traffic management and move the concrete barriers safely.

The first closures will be on the nights of Saturday, July 30 and Sunday, July 31.
