A well-known man in his 60s has been missing from his home in a Welsh town for a month

Police in mid Wales are searching for a man who has now been missing from his home for a month.

Gordon Ward was last seen in Aberystwyth in Ceredigion four weeks ago on Wednesday, April 12.

He is said to be "well-known" in the local area and police are making enquiries as to his whereabouts and urging members of the public to get in touch.

A spokeswoman for Dyfed-Powys Police said: “Police in Aberystwyth are making enquiries about the whereabouts of Gordon Ward, 63, who has been reported as missing.

“Mr Ward is well known in the local community and was last seen in Aberystwyth on Wednesday,14th April.

“Anyone who has seen Mr Ward, or anyone who has information which could help the investigation, is asked to contact Aberystwyth Police online or by e-mailing 101@dyfed-powys.pnn.police.uk."
