A The Bear food truck is coming to London

Ravenous for season three of The Bear? Us too. After months sitting on the edge of our kitchen counters, the show, starring Jeremy Allen White, Ayo Edebiri and Matty Matheson, will finally arrive Disney+ on 27 June. Though if you’re not sure you can wait that long for your dose of delicious chef action, it’s your lucky day, because Walt’s people have a treat up their sleeve.

Disney+ has teamed up with digital recipe maestros at Mob Kitchen on an ‘immersive eating experience’ (AKA a food truck) offering a taste of the TV show. Travelling around London and further afield throughout the summer, until 4 August you can get your hands on the following dishes:

  • Cheese and Onion Hash Brown: Skewered hash brown served with extra mature cheddar cheese custard, burnt leeks and chives.
  • Glazed Pork Belly Skewer: ‘Pork floss’ in a ‘signature glaze’ topped with chicharron (pork crackling) and spring onion.
  • 12-Spice Fried Chicken: 12-spice buttermilk fried chicken, garlic Kewpie mayo, crispy chicken skin and pickled red chilli.
  • Beef Cheek Doughnut: braised beef cheek, roast bone marrow, mature cheddar cheese with fermented chilli and crispy shallots in a sugar-topped doughnut.

In terms of locations, you’ll find it cropping up at:

  • Boxpark Shoreditch, 25 June
  • Pub in the Park, 28 June
  • Soho House Festival, 4 July
  • BST Hyde Park from 29 June to 14 July
  • Wilderness from 1 to 4 August

Will the food be as tantalising as that seen on the show? There’s only one way to find out...
