My dad gave me a cassette tape of Dark Side of the Moon for Christmas when I was eight, and it was an awakening of epic proportion in my tiny child's mind. That record is a testament to perfection. And Rick Wright's contribution to the sound of the record is as important as any of the other members. To gauge Rick's influence on the world, one need look no further than the amount of children conceived during the week when Dark Side of the Moon came out in 1973, no doubt initiated at the precise moment Great Gig in the Sky reached its climax and side one ground to a halt.
