A sky-high afternoon tea that includes a spa day has arrived in Manchester

There's something special about sipping on cocktails while enjoying panoramic views over our city.

One of Manchester's most long-standing sky-high bars, Cloud 23, is as popular for its afternoon teas as it is for its champagne evenings.

The towering venue, located on the 23rd floor of Beetham Tower, is now offering visitors the chance to use its health club as part of an afternoon tea package.

If a return to the office has meant the dreaded commute has left you needing some well-deserved R&R, or maybe you just need a little detox, this could be the answer.

Visitors will be able to enjoy two hours of access to the LivingWell Health Club with use of the pool, sauna, steam room and gym.

Once you’re feeling truly zen, you can make your way up to the 23rd floor for a traditional afternoon tea, with the option to add in champagne and cocktails.

A selection of sweet treats will be served alongside sweeping views of the city skyline through floor-to-ceiling windows.

This package is available Thursday to Sunday from 12pm - 4pm costing £45 per person. Slippers and robes are included.

Cloud 23 also offers a traditional afternoon tea experience with a selection of sweet and savoury bites including unlimited hot drinks for £28 per person, or £40 per person if upgraded to a glass of champagne or a cocktail. This is available Wednesday - Sunday 12-5pm.
