Senior members of the Trump administration are working to undermine his worst policies, according to what the New York Times says is a senior White House official.
The newspaper editorial says cabinet members initially considered ways to remove the president from office.
Trump has condemned the article and called on the paper to reveal the identity of the author for “national security purposes”.
