If you aren't watching Squid Game on Netflix right now, or have already binged it, then you're probably one of the few.
Created by South Korean director and screenwriter Hwang Dong-hyuk, the show involves a contest in which hundreds of players take part in a series of games for the chance to win huge sums of money.
However, failure often comes with deadly consequences.

Inspired by the show, Venue No 1 in Swansea will be allowing players to experience the high stakes games for themselves in a special theatrical event. You can read more of our what's on stories here.
It will see contestants compete in six games to avoid being eliminated, but thankfully, unlike the show, elimination is only to the 'Blood Bar' where players can grab a drink before the next event.
Venue No 1, created by Mark Jermin, who runs a successful drama school and talent agency in Swansea - which you can read more about here - is keeping the nature of the games top-secret, but has assured players that the deadly aspects of the show will not feature.
Squid Games will arrive at Venue No.1 for three exclusive showings from January 13-15, 2022.
Tickets are £20 a nd, with the popularity of the show, they are expected to sell fast.
