A Place in the Sun 'renamed' after host Leah Charles-King raises problem

A Place in the Sun's Leah-Charles King suggested the show should have a new name after a problem during today's episode.

The host was helping Jane and Neil find their dream property abroad on Wednesday's edition of the popular Channel 4 programme. The married couple lived in Wirral and were looking for a holiday home in the seaside town of Gran Alacant.

People appear on the show as they dream of a new life abroad away from the unpredictable British weather. However, Jane and Neil's search was hit with a snag as it was against the backdrop of unseasonably rainy weather.

The couple fought through wind and rain to view five homes on the latest episode. Leah took to Twitter throughout the show to suggest a new title would be appropriate.

She joked: "Wet, windy and apparently the “worst weather Spain had seen for a century!” Now called “ A Place in the Storm."

The weather thankfully improved as the search went on and the episode ended on a bright note. Jane and Neil fell in love with the fourth property on the hunt and secured the three bed home for £106,723.
