'A performance that keeps you coming back for years' - Bristol Rovers fans react to display against Brighton

Football is ultimately about winning but the beauty of the sport is that it can also be much more than that.

And despite defeat to Premier League Brighton & Hove Albion in the most heart-wrenching way with Glenn Murray's injury-time winner, Gasheads left the Mem beaming with pride for their team.

Rovers had taken the Seagulls all the way in north Bristol with Tom Nichols' stunning equaliser richly deserved across a 90 minutes in which they battled throughout but also top-flight opposition.

Graham Coughlan one of his missions is to give Rovers fans a team they can be proud of and over the last seven days - with league wins against Tranmere and Oxford United plus Tuesday night's performance - that is coming to pass.
