Following his successful STC productions of Macbeth and Romeo and Juliet, director Kip Williams turns his hand to another Shakespearean classic, tracking the wonder of A Midsummer Night’s Dream. The dream unfolds as a funny and unexpectedly complex story of sexual awakening, this time starring Josh McConville, Robert Collins and Honey Debelle.

Hermia and Lysander defy parental expectation and run from the rules of the city to the depths of the forest to pursue an alternate future. Demetrius and Helena are close at their heels. They land in a place that is more enchanting than ever: it’s a place of liberation, exploration, transgression and transformation.
