A map of the Bath Christmas Market 2019 to help you get around

Huge crowds, cute chalets and mulled wine. Yep, it's time for Bath Christmas Market.

Thousands of people will go to the popular festive markets in Bath during its 18-day stint, which starts today (November 28).

Extra trains are being put on between Bristol and Bath , with a queuing system due to be put in place at Bath Spa railway station to cope with the extra foot traffic.

Unfortunately once you get to the markets the crowds often don't get any better, so it's important to make sure you know where you're going so you don't miss any of the market.

Our sister title Somerset Live has released a map of the market to help stop people from feeling overwhelmed.

(Bath Christmas Market)

On the Bath Christmas Market website, it says there are 19 chalets on Abbey Green, three on Abbey Street, 17 on Abbeygate Street, 32 in Abbey Churchyard, 57 on Bath Street and 55 on Milsom Street.

There are also two on Stall Street, 32 in Abbey Churchyard, 11 on Union Street, 14 on York Street and 18 on York Street East.

The busiest parts of the market tend to be Bath Street, the Union/Stall Street area, and at the Abbey Churchyard.

Last year Visit Bath introduced one-way systems in the city centre on weekends to try and manage the huge crowds.

The market will close 10 days before Christmas Day, so don't get caught out by leaving it too late.
