A Louisville offensive lineman cartwheeled (???) mid-play vs. Boston College

Not every football player is going to get a major role in every single play, but this Louisville Cardinals offensive lineman didn’t let that stop him from having fun on the field.

Cardinals tackle Willie Tyler got split out wide on a Louisville play against Boston College on Saturday, but he wasn’t a focal point of the formation as much he was perhaps a decoy in an unexpected spot on the line.

Rather than just run a meaningless route or back up to pass protect against an invisible defender, Tyler just jumped up and down twice with his hands in the air as the play got going before doing a random cartwheel before the play was over.

If this was a tactic to confuse Boston College, then mission accomplished!

This is about as enjoyable of a time you can have on a play in football when you’re not really asked to do much, and we greatly commend Tyler on what looked to be a very solid cartwheel.

Maybe the team will try and put his skills to work with a cartwheel touchdown play sometime in the future?
