Now the front office’s eye has to turn toward player retention. A.J. Green, Tyler Boyd and a host of others have one year left on their deals before they head to the open market.

It would probably be hard to find a team with more talent leaking to the open market. Green, Tyler Boyd, Clint Boling, Giovani Bernard, Darqueze Dennard, Tyler Eifert and Nick Vigil are key components of the roster and the rest aren’t exactly unimportant, either.
