A huge food and drink festival is coming to the Royal Albert Dock next month as part of the area's re-shaped events programme, Summer on the Dock.
The Albert Dock Food Festival 2019 will take place on Saturday, September 7 and Sunday, September 8 and will provide visitors with a variety of food and drink options from a host of restaurants, bars and traders across the weekend.
There will also be interactive chef demos from Docksiders and special guests alongside masterclasses and taster sessions, children's story time sessions, kids' street theatre and many more activities still to be announced.
Celebrity chef Andi Oliver will be presenting the demos and said: "It's so exciting to be part of such an innovative event at the iconic Royal Albert Dock.
"Every time I visit Liverpool, I fall in love a little bit more with the city!
"I'm genuinely impressed with the diverse food and drink scene and friendly people, so it's an honour to headline this new festival which I'm sure will be a huge success!"
The Royal Albert Dock has seen a rise in independent food spots over the past few years that have proved popular, welcoming favourites like Rosa's Thai Café , Maray and Lunyalita .
