‘A horrible name’: Eyebrows raised as Erika Kirk event promises to ‘make heaven crowded’

Everyone deals with grief in their own way. Some prefer isolation and privacy, some seek solace in family and friends, and others grimly try to forge on as if nothing has happened. Or, in Erika Kirk‘s case, they glam up, spark up the pyrotechnics, and give the crowd a bit of high-energy razzle-dazzle!

But who are we to judge? Grief is a personal thing, and I guess sometimes it comes with gold sequins and fireworks.

Anyhow, Kirk is kicking off 2026 with a bang as her conservative media profile continues to grow. Tonight she’s appearing at a TP USA event at Riverside’s Harvest Church in California, which promises to… “Make Heaven Crowded”. Huh.

Look, we see what Kirk and the organizers are going for here. In the wake of her husband’s murder, she said that he was “alongside Jesus right now” and that in death he’s “making heaven crowded”. The phrase quickly gained traction in conservative circles, with country star Cole Swindell releasing a “Christian anthem” named after it.

Stay away from the Flavor-Aid!

But for those not immersed in the latest in conservative evangelical media, an event that promises to make heaven crowded sounds… ominous.

Chances are that most, if not all, attendees will leave this event with their lives intact, but if they don’t, nobody can say they weren’t warned. In the meantime, we can only commend Erika Kirk for getting that bag and refusing to let go.

In crisis, she saw opportunity, and now everyone is aware of the kind of woman she is. And who are we to throw any shade her way? Her bank balance must be very healthy right now. On this, at least, we’re confident that Charlie would be proud. Seems like he picked a perfectly suited bride for himself!
